What if I want to register a domain name without services?
Every new, transferred, or renewed domain name at NameSecure now comes with services included, whether or not you choose to use those services.
If a domain name is already registered with NameSecure, but I don't have services, can I upgrade?
The WHOIS database is a public database mandated by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) - the non-profit corporation responsible for accrediting domain name registrars. This database was intended to help people contact domain registrants for valid reasons (ex. Legal disputes). However, the WHOIS database is often misused by nefarious sorts to data mine for sensitive contact information for the shady purposes of marketing to domain name registrants without their explicit consent.
I have a domain name registration through another registrar. Can I still get your services?
To get NameSecure's services (Forwarding Services, One-Page Mini-Site, etc.), you can transfer the registration of the domain name to NameSecure. NameSecure no longer offers new services for domain names not registered with NameSecure.
I registered a Country-Code domain name (.jp, .ca, .cc, .uk, etc.). Can I still get your services?
NameSecure does not offer registration for these types of domain names. If you have added NameSecure's services to a country-code domain name, you will continue to receive those services as long as you renew them.
Can I check the status of my order?
To check the status of an order, log in to the My Account section with the user name and password you used to place the order, and then click the Check Order Status button.
How can I put a domain name on another company's DNS?
If you need to transfer name service for a domain name out of NameSecure, and the name is registered with us, you can do so in the My Account section of our site. In My Account, click the "Modify/Update" link next to the domain name, then click the WHOIS Info tab, and then click "Modify Domain Name Servers." There is no charge to make DNS changes.
